About me:
I am a qualified mind-body coach based in Barnet, Herts.
My Story:
For most of my life I was a carer to my parents. Caring was all I knew and it became my sole identity.
My school years were also challenging - bullying and acne affected my confidence and self-esteem.
All these stressors resulted in anxiety, depression, chronic pain, insomnia and other symptoms.
After my caring role ended, I faced grief, loss of purpose and isolation. I believed I was broken and needed fixing. Over the years, I explored different forms of therapy and personal development — some were helpful, some weren’t and some were even re-traumatising.
The Turning Point
What ultimately forced real change was recurrent illnesses and workplace stress. My mind and body had reached their limit, and I knew I had to take action.
I eventually found coaching and mind-body approaches where I began to understand that my body had been in survival mode. These approaches showed me that my symptoms were signalling how my core needs weren’t being met. I learned how important it was to listen to and work with my body as well as using cognitive approaches.
As a result of this work, my body began to feel safe and I could start the healing process.
Transformation
My life changed. I began doing things I never thought possible — travelling independently for the first time, dating after a lifetime of being single, and discovering my identity beyond caring and survival.
Most importantly, I learned that growth doesn’t come from quick fixes — it comes from showing compassion and empathy to yourself and your body.
What I Believe:
· You are not broken.
· Your body holds wisdom.
· Change happens from within the body
When you learn to trust and follow your instincts, and when you feel safe and supported, you can then start the path to meaningful change.
Let me show you how amazing you are, and what’s possible when you reconnect with your body, mind, and instincts.
